Currently producing the top-rated "The Drive with Steve Jaxon" for KSRO 1350-AM/103.5-FM weekday afternoons for the past 8 years, offering additional Production & Booking support to a host of specialty programming including: "At The Table with Clark Wolf", "NorCal Sports Radio", and "The Good Four Hour with John Ash", and KSRO's "Friday Night Lights" football broadcasts. Mike is young, versatile, tenacious, and brings large-market style to a mid-market audience.
Mike's radio career began by chance, becoming an intern while in High School for "The Blazy Show" on Santa Rosa's former rocker 101.7 The Fox. The following year, Mike jammed his foot in the door at 97.7 The River and the rest was history. In less than 6 months, through a combination of chance, luck, and skill, Mike was the Producer of the drive time political talk show "The David Glass Show" on KSRO, all before graduating college.
Upon graduating from Sonoma State in 2010 with an Economics degree, Mike was two-years in to producing the daily variety talk show "The Drive with Steve Jaxon". The show is a one-of-a-kind on radio featuring a perfect blend of current events, politics, sports, comedy, lifestyle, food, and even live music in the studio.
While working on The Drive, Mike broadened his skill set to included live on-the-scene reporting of major events including covering both the President and Vice President as the radio pool reporter, the Super Bowl, World Series Parades, and NHL Stadium Series game, extreme weather, and breaking news situations. Mike continued to hone his skills to include photography and video production, serving as an editor an contributor to The Download Parlor online music publication. In short, Mike is the total production package.
Mike's work as a Producer has been featured in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, the North Bay Bohemian, KQED (San Francisco), CMedia-TV and more.
Mike is a California boy - born in Petaluma, CA and grew up in nearby Rohnert Park, CA, where he still resides.

March 16th, 2016 - The Drive with Steve Jaxon named "The Best Reason to Listen to the Radio" in the 2016 'Best of' edition of the North Bay Bohemian!
